[orca-tech:00725] kernel2.4 のパフォーマンス

ネットワーク応用通信研究所の曳野です。お世話になります。


kernel2.4.18とkernel2.4.20のパフォーマンスの違いに気がつきましたので、テ
ストしてみました。
その結果を報告します。


Pentium4[2.0GHz]マシンのセットアップ直後の環境

tpsとは、1秒間に実行できたselect/update/insert等のSQLのトランザクション数です。


pgbenchは、最初に以下のコマンドを実行しました。

何が原因で、大幅に高速化したかは不明ですが、上記のような結果になりました。
